a Star Adventurer 2i tracker on an equatorial mount. You align it with Polaris (there's a small telescope right on the axis under that black cap on the main unit) and it spins the green part and camera at 1 revolution per sidereal day. then you use the top mount to aim your camera at something and take a LOT of photos. the tracker's rotation cancels out the earth's rotation, giving you clear pics.

8y ago I bought 500w of Craigslist panels and some marine batteries and an inverter and that has powered my ham radio desk, some mini PCs and a fridge since. It hit break-even about 5 years in, and my house is the only one with a porch light on when the power's out. Micro/mini solar is COOL yall

i have a dumb coffee maker hooked to a smart outlet and a Home Assistant automation. it's got a turn-on timer yes, but the best part is that after it's gone into keep-warm mode for 3 mins the little robot voice assistant says "it's time to get out of bed and drink the hot bean water" and it works.
