I’m Russ Cleveland. I’m not taking a dime of corporate PAC or dark money. I won’t be bought, and I won’t back down when fighting for Montana.
It’s time for change that actually works for us.

That’s not radical. That’s responsible.
I believe in national defense. I also believe in fiscal responsibility, and our representatives have a duty to cut the waste and spend OUR tax dollars responsibly.
Send me to DC and that’s exactly what I will fight to do.
Now imagine if we cut the waste (not troop pay, not veterans’ care) the actual waste.
We could fund universal childcare and Pre-K. Or eliminate childcare deserts where parents can’t find care.
We could help families work, strengthen education, and grow local economies.
It’s not just fuel. Congress adds billions for weapons the Pentagon didn’t request. Programs run over budget. Contractors get paid even when equipment underperforms.
That’s not supporting our troops. That’s protecting contractors.
I believe in a strong military. That’s why I stepped up to serve my country.
But I saw how DC rewards spending for the sake of spending. If you don’t use it, you lose it. So billions get pushed out to protect next year’s funding. Your tax dollars are burned up for no reason.
When I was serving in the Navy as an avionics flight-line inspector, we were ordered to keep our helicopters airborne only to burn jet fuel.
There wasn’t a mission. Or a threat. We were using it up so the budget wouldn’t get cut the next year.
That stuck with me.
Real leadership starts with listening. Actually hearing people.
I’m from here. I’m raising my family here. If you send me to Washington, I’ll fight for the people of Montana. Not corporations. Not billionaires looking to cash in on our home.
Montana first. Always.
I didn’t wake up one morning wanting to be a politician. But when you see what’s happening in Washington, when you see politicians serving donors instead of the people who sent them there, you either accept it or you step up.
I chose to step up.
This campaign isn’t about speeches or slogans. It’s about the people who live and work here and the challenges they face every day.
I’ve spent the last year traveling across Western Montana doing a lot more listening than talking.
Kitchen tables. Front porches. Coffee shops. Bars like this one.
People telling me what’s working. What’s broken. And what they’re worried about for their families.
I’ve been traveling this state and listening to Montanans. Not talking. Listening.
When you do that, the party labels fade. What matters is what people need, what they’re going through, and whether anyone is willing to show up and hear them.
How can you lead if you don’t know?

If you believe our government should answer to the people who live here, not corporate PACs & out of state billionaires, there’s a place for you in this campaign.
We can end the corruption, cut the waste, & make Montana work for Montanans again. But we need your help to do it. ⬇️
I’m running because this state belongs to the people who live here. Not the billionaires. Not the PACs.
Together, we are Montana strong. And it’s time to send leadership to DC that will work for us.
I didn’t set out to be a politician. I set out to raise my family here and build a life in Montana.
But when you watch families fight to stay afloat while politicians get rich, something has to change.
Real strength isn’t impulse. It’s strategy. Before we send American troops into conflict, Congress should be asking: What’s the objective, the timeline, and the exit strategy?
If you can’t answer those, don’t start a war.
We deserve leadership that puts people over politics.
If you’re ready to fight back, watch this and chip in $25.

Before this race even starts, the dark money is already flooding Montana.
Corporate lobbyists just launched a multi-million dollar SuperPAC to buy our congressional seat.
They think we’re dumb enough to fall for it.
I’m the only candidate in this race who refuses corporate PAC money and dark money.

This piece reflects the values that shaped me, and continue to shape me, in small-town Montana: showing up, taking care of each other, and doing right by your community, especially on the hard days.
I’m grateful to my wife for opening her heart and sharing this.
When I started a childcare business, I made a decision that we would only do it if families paid less, employees earned more, & quality didn’t suffer.
We proved that putting people first works. That’s the kind of leadership I believe in, and we shouldn’t settle for less.
I’m running to fix our broken healthcare system, make childcare affordable, end the corruption in politics, and put families before corporate tax breaks and profits.
It's time for leadership that works for us.
It's time for change that can win in Montana.
This isn’t about money. It’s about priorities.
Ryan Zinke voted for $1.1 trillion in healthcare cuts, but supported trillions in tax cuts & funding increases for The War Department & ICE. We have the money for universal healthcare. But Zinke keeps voting for the wrong priorities.
Bowling night in Missoula with students from the University of Montana. A lot of fun, a lot of laughs, and students who are clearly fired up about shaping their own future and being part of what comes next.
Missoula was amazing this week. House parties full of great people and honest conversations. New and longtime supporters, and shared energy about where this campaign is going. You could feel the momentum in the room. That’s what showing up, listening, & doing the work looks like.
Our rivers & public lands aren’t for sale. Not to corporations, out-of-state interests, or politicians who think this place can be carved up for profit.
I’ll stand up for clean water, public lands, & the people who call Montana home.
Because protecting Montana is our responsibility.
Water is life in Montana.
It runs through our land, our work, and our families.
When you mess with Montana’s water, you’re messing with Montanans.
