I'm at a swim meet and I've seen two children who were wildly outmatched finish their races. It's lowkey inspiring.
Also, my 12yr old niece came in 3rd (after a late start no less) against high schoolers. Other people's kids were inspiring. My niece was dominating. But finish your race or whatever.
