March 13, 2026 𧡠Because photography with a single photobomber wasnβt hard-mode enough.
Gorgeous tatted earrings, beautifully photographed.
Thanks!
Thank you!
A pair of variegated red crochet heart earrings with steel double-heart charms. The charm hangs from the earhook, and the crochet heart is attached in two places to the charm.
March 11, 2026 𧡠Itβs always Valentineβs Day somewhere π©·π
I got these double-heart charms without a specific plan in mind. This is version four. I am pleased with version four.
I love the results too! And it goes perfectly with that shirt.
I guess Iβm old π
A pair of black crochet earrings with partly exposed steel rings.
March 10, 2026 𧡠The only thing more masochistic than crocheting in black, is trying to get a clear photo afterwards.
Something blue π
A pair of royal blue crochet flower earrings hanging from a wooden dowel, with a cavernous ceiling dotted with lights in the background.
March 7, 2026 𧡠My first time using a convention center ceiling as a backdrop.
Super cool!
A ball of bright red cotton thread and two items crocheted from this thread, a heart and a 3D rose with green leaves.
March 5, 2026 𧡠Got another new ball of thread.
How can I have so much thread and yet still be missing basics like bright red?
I have some wooden bases like this. But I havenβt had a chance to basket them up yet.
These are cute cute cute. The stitching is even and I like the subtle color variation. Nice work!
As a general note, you can make a crochet item denser and stiffer by using a smaller hook with the same yarn and pattern.
This is a useful trick for things like coasters and ornaments that donβt need to drape well but do need to hold their shape.
Starch isnβt good for stiffening coasters since it rinses out, and glue isnβt good since it will make the coaster less absorbent.
I would just block them with plain water. It wonβt stiffen them but it will help the yarn relax into its new shape.
March 3, 2026 𧡠Progress pic of the shawl.
Shawls sure do take a while.
Yes! And yes!
I think Iβm in love π
This is exquisite.
A three-dimensional rose with two leaves, crocheted from pink and fern green cotton thread.
March 1, 2026 𧡠An itty bitty 3D rose β about an inch across.
So fiddly to assemble at this scale, but oh so cute.
My favorite fiber is cotton. I love the stitch definition it gives and I enjoy how it feels in my hands.
Gorgeous!
I also appreciate the kitties for scale π
A pair of shamrock motifs crocheted from variegated green and purple thread, plus the ball of thread.
February 27, 2026 𧡠Purple is an unusual color for shamrocks, but I gave it a try and I think theyβre adorable.
Thank you so much!
Wishing you all the luck! π€π€
Twenty pairs of crochet earrings on a vertical display among other jewelry and items in a shop.
February 25, 2026 𧡠Yesterday I restocked my earring display at a local co-op market.
People liking my work enough to trade money for it, sure feels good.
The blue one is intrigued. The teal one is lost in thought. The green one is Cthulhu.
A gray and white cat sitting in a doorway, looking upward, with his mouth open wide.
He says happy belated birthday!
