Understandable misunderstanding! Not only is the story weird, but so is the reporting on it, as you noted.

That is a downright goofy description! But also, seems a little weird to call it a hate crime when they were targeting bigots (if that is really what they were doing; this whole story is weird).
I think I'm the perfect candidate for delta 8: I like two-thirds of the effects of regular weed and hate one-third of the effects. For me delta 8 is just like weed but with the effects I don't like dialed way back. I hope it stays easily available.
I've been a delta 8 convert for four years now. Some of these nontraditional cannabinoids are really cool.
Watch out. I tried that and wound up stuck in inane.
This. Similarly, if I were in a restaurant and saw "beatles" on the menu, I wouldn't order them. Who knows what else they're getting wrong there?
Look, no one made you scroll through my old posts.
Oof, that could take awhile. I'd need to relisten to it and Shazam each song. Maybe eventually!
It’s surprising good. Koko Taylor, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Binky Griptite.

I once had an alt account named after a famous baroque piece that almost has my real-world last name in it, with the bio "Puns so baroque you can't Handel it."
It's two puns at once!
Baroque counterpunt.
Both are good responses to when someone is telling you stories about their mouth guard.
For me that finished him as a candidate, (if a Nazi tattoo isn't a deal breaker, what is?), but I was willing to believe he didn't know what it was until recently, since I do Holocaust research for a living and didn't recognize that particular symbol.
Same, and same.
Maybe that’s why he had that tattoo.
A Google Street View screenshot of that neighborhood in Copenhagen that's all seventeenth-century barracks. They are very long and orange-cream colored, receding toward a distant vanishing point in the center, and there are some parked cars in the middle and a person crossing the street in the foreground.
Good lord this is nostalgic for me. Chicago channel 2 news from my early childhood. Walter Jacobson, Bill Kurtis, that guy who works with my parents' friend...
