Thanks for the advice everyone! I've changed the mouth shape, swapped to a "more expressionate" UV sphere for the eyes, added a bit more detail and that "slightly cross the eyes" trick really helped too.

Finished my first ever 3D character model for Noirassic Investigations.
I'm really proud of it and myself but I feel like it's missing something in the "not having dead eyes and no soul" department.

Rex fishing up a Chub. We know it's a Chub because there's a handy little statistics panel at the bottom that shows all the details of the fish we've caught and the crops we've harvested.
Accidentally took a month off and don't have anything super exciting to show off this #ScreenshotSaturday, but I do have the first pass of statistics working now. The UI at the bottom is a little cramped so I'm thinking of putting it in a book higher up or something.

Fortunately it was an easy fix and debris now spawns nicely overnight at a much more manageable and sustainable rate
