Why do I love writing the X-Men so much?
I can't even say but it's got my heart and soul in it and I hope I can do it for a long, long time.
It's fun and creative and feels meaningful, somehow. It's sometimes quiet, sometimes violent, it's poetic and chaotic both.
Sounds corny, but it's true.

Ok but it was genuinely funny and tore at your heartstrings at times. When I found out about Granny Smites backstory I was distraught. I will never forget the corn dog bit in every issue. A friend and I still joke about it.
Emma Frost is opening a new school for Mutants with teachers, students, & many safeguards. Most senior X-men are onboard, but Cyclops is aggressively not. In ways, X-men United is the next evolution for the former Exceptional X-men series. So if you liked those characters you can see them here.

No bullshit, Ultimates 23 is going to go down as one of the most beautiful Thor issues of all time. Get yourself a copy, even if you're not reading the book, even if you hate my work.
It's magnificent, operatic, and epic in the classical sense. A brutal mythology on the page.
