A drawing I made in 2022 of two of my characters standing up to a Karen. Caddie (left) is transmasc and wanted to use a bathroom, but Karen (middle) wouldn't let him. Alyssa (right) came across the scene, and her towering size (7' 2") intimidated Karen enough for her to give up.

Depends on whether I'm focusing on the scenario or not. If yes, I draw the background, then the character, and add the size to conform to the scene. If not, I start with the size, then add everything else.
A digital redraw of a drawing I made for Halloween 2025. The scene depicts siblings Ella Hesper (a Blue Policeman Butterfly, on the left) and Maple Hesper (a nonbinary Rosy Maple Moth, on the right) trick-or-treating on Halloween night, 2020. Maple is dressed as the moon, and their were-blimp condition has made them so overinflated that Ella has to roll them down the street; and Ella is dressed as the sun and carrying a shared bag of candy, with a somewhat annoyed (but mostly neutral) expression on her face. (As a note, before anyone asks: in this universe, the Pandemic was stopped MUCH earlier than in our timeline because of Anthro involvement, so Halloween was unimpeded that year.)
Halloween 2020 fell on a full moon, and as such, Maple and Ella were able to plan their Halloween costumes around Maple's condition for once. That year, wih Ella's help, an eclipse went rolling down the street for everyone to see.

I feel that - I recently made a vore pic of Servine, and instead of just writing a small dialogue exchange like I initially planned, it ended up spiralling into my first honest stab at one-shot horror (any I'd written before was parody at best).

I was having trouble with Tuesday, until I looked up what happens on Tuesdays and saw that video game releases have historically fallen on them quite often (such as Sonic 2). And Tuesday being the middle child of weekdays means it's attention-seeking, thus it'd be a troll.
Saturday would be laid back, while Sunday is more anxious
Monday is perpetually tired and snippy
Tuesday is a trolling gamer who can't take what she dishes out
Wednesday is an unintentional tease (a play on "hump day")
Thursday is office casual (friendly but professional)
Friday is a partyholic
(Not that that's a bad thing)

I've been trying to think of a theme to base a set of characters around (aside from Zodiac signs), and I think this is just the inspiration I needed!
It's said that grabbing on a Ninetales' tail will inflict you with a 1,000 year curse. Claire here never believed this, until the day she actually decided to try it with her own Ninetales. The moment she grabbed it, the Pokémon's eyes lit up. In a burst of smoke, a Cyndaquil stood where she once was, frozen mid-grab. Ninetales harrumphed, "(The nerve....)" It then pulled its tail out of her grasp and strode away. Claire looked down at the stubs that were now her hands. ...well, at least she'll have plenty of time to get used to her new body. (Also, I used the only frame of the Anime where Cyndaquil's eyes are open as reference.)
Claire here found this out the hard way.

Personally, I'd say your opinion is understandable.
CANONICALLY, though, Eevee has it beat.
For example, my Changeling OC doesn't have defined pupils other than a slightly lighter patch, and that isn't always easy to see (especially if I'm drawing on paper), so the shines being attached to the pupil makes for good visual shorthand as to where they're looking.
I see it as a reflective spot, but because of how I draw eyes (reflective spots are almost always attached to the pupil + iris, moving around with them regardless of whether or not that makes physical sense), it ends up functioning AS the pupil.
Let's see!
(That said, I do still have plenty of bigger characters even when they *aren't* so large that they could knock over a shed just by turning around.)
I feel like having their base form be thinner actually emphasizes the change that happens whenever they get bigger. Like, when a skinny person gets pregnant, it's so much more pronounced on their thin frame.
A 2-panel comic about Gecqua, the newest water-type Starter Pokémon (or "First Partner Pokémon" if you wanna be a nerd about it). Panel 1: Gecqua waves to the camera and says "Hi, everyone! I'm really excited to see who'll pick me as their first partner!" Panel 2: Cut to later, Gecqua is staring at a computer, a mixture of shock, fear, and slight arousal on their face. They scream out, "HOW IS THERE ALREADY *THIS MUCH* LEWD ART OF ME!?" Then they quietly add, "(and why do I kinda like it????)"

That's why I like reaction videos; you get to see someone else experience that first-time feeling, and kinda relive that feeling yourself by proxy.
Also, I haven't actually seen the stream myself (only know vague things like Lord Helix); should really get around to watching it.
