I was curiously looking for tickets to potentially go home for the summer and prices for steerage are also going through the roof for anything that does not touch the Gulf.

At least the GP2 engine actually managed to get the wheels moving... just very slowly.
what I have always found interesting about the admin at this hypothetical public university is that even when they are trying to obey the powers that be in advance they always seem to do so in the most cowardly of ways which perhaps is what always makes everything at hypothetical univ so frustrating
Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.
I highly recommend looking at @triangleblogblog.bsky.social as a model: itβs built on fun, civics, and community participation. Over 80 contributors, a parade, pizza parties, and actually driving change.
Ah I see! It looks like player customization still adds an extra $35 on top though, so the first $30 might be a bit hefty of a fee for me to have the privilege of advertising eventsdc and american beverage.
all good! just thought the disparity was weird!
do you happen to know why it appears to be more expensive on the clubβs website ($130) vs on nike dot com ($100)?
Also regarding the precious free movement of motor vehiclesβeven the reactionary NCDOT raised no strong objections over this plan and agreed that the effects on vehicular flow would not be catastrophic. The restriping options on nearby streets seemed fairly reasonable and with simplified signaling.
I thought it was fairly obvious that the moveable barriers will be able to accommodate deliveries and emergency vehicles. The outcry over free car storage is also absurdβthere is a total of four parking spots on E Weaver and it does not provide direct access to any of the public parking lots/decks.
"The public feedback even led Mayor Foushee to question whether a future bike-and-pedestrian mall should even go on East Weaver Street at all."
This is so disappointing that as always this town fails to prioritize anything over the free movement of motor vehicles.

People say China thinks in terms of generations, centuries even, but might I suggest China actually thinks in terms of millennia. Everything happening right now is following the plans of the Tang Empress Wu Zetian.
history department happy hour once the europeanists have had a few pilsner urquells:
The Royal Thai Navy has recovered weapons from abandoned Cambodian forward outposts, among them an MBV-78A2 antipersonnel landmineβillegal under the Ottawa Convention. Yesterday another Thai soldier suffered injuries from stepping on antipersonnel landmine. www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/gen....
Thai language press does not seem to have much more than this summary from the Bangkok Post. There are some descriptions of the gunman and allegations that he has a history of illicit drug use (and that he may have been under the influence during the shooting.) www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/gen...
I had a course eval that said something along the lines of βI liked it when Pasuth wrote things down on the whiteboardβ and I never felt more like I had personally revolutionized pedagogy.
Thailand really had a Condorcet paradox of an election:
- absolute majority for conservatives via constituency votes (Bhumjaithai + Kla Tham)
- popularity win for progressives and liberals via party-list votes (People's Party + Democrats)
- clear majority in favor of constitutional reform (65-35)
Some people are saying this is a polling miss, but really NIDA did a pretty good job reflecting the party-list shares. Everyone knew the conservative parties were going to outperform in constituency votes, but I think Bhumjaithai managed to exceed that somehow. Absolute majority for the right.
we have never been more back in a very long time

Thank you for the response! That makes a lot of sense and I really appreciate all the hard work town staff has done to keep our sidewalks clear and safe. Are residents and businesses outside of those areas then responsible for clearing the sidewalks in front of their properties?
thank you friends!

Hey friends @chapelhillgov.bsky.social, do yβall happen to know if neighbors and businesses are responsible for clearing their sidewalks of ice? There are quite a few dangerous blocks still along Rosemary Ave towards the @carrboronc.bsky.social border as well as on Cameron Ave in front of Granville.
