my husband's can't even keep him on a low dose of prozacm but it makes him lose his appetite so he won't stay on it. as far as i know he hasn't been prescribed an antipsychotic, but he's a 48-year-old austistic cis man—it's a lot easier for him to refuse meds than a trans woman

oh no, and that's not uncommon, either! that must have been so scary. i stg they never ask enough questions!
mine has tried to put me on antipsychotics three times, and i'm like, I HAVE TREATMENT-RESISTANT DEPRESSION, I'VE NEVER SHOWN ONE SYMPTOM OF PSYCHOSIS, WYD
