I dunno man, I think precipitously canceling people's funding caused a lot of damage to other people's careers and lives and reputations and maybe they should live with the blowback. They come from a media ecosystem that makes public lists of insufficiently bigoted professors.

Meanwhile, my fantastic rheumatologist said that we need to check it and immediately ordered a chest Xray to make sure the bone is not injured from the tubing and everything is still in the proper place.
Got the Xray this morning and waiting on results 🥹
Allegedly, I should build up collagen/tissue to buffer the tubing from rubbing against the bone.
He also said that it doesn’t go away for some people and then wished me luck with the healing 🤣
Surgeon said, “we didn’t have a lot of real estate to work with, so we had to wrap it around and under your collarbone quite a bit.”

Port is in. It’s been a week & is mostly healed.
My collar bone area is in a lot of pain. I can feel the tube against my bone.
Wondering if MCAS is making my body more sensitive to the sensation.
Anyone else have MCAS and a port that has the collarbone area tubing? Is this ongoing pain normal?
