Weβre getting close, it seems!
If thatβs how her kid pronounces it, sure.
The primer coat for my first solo painting of Marina Shafir. Iβm super excited for you to see how this one turns out!

Chris, weβve been acting like it since November 2024. Glad youβre catching up.
Heβs the villain of that friend group.
A recent development!
Unrelated, autocorrect always tries to change my last name to Schadenfreude.
Ursa from Superman II
Iβm pretty sure I saw He-Man before Superman II, but just in case.
When did your obsession with hot toxic women begin?
Good lookinβ out!
Prowrestingtees has 25% off aew stuff this weekend. Looks like it includes this wonderful art. Only 9 left so go get them.
London Rules by Mick Herron
A series of tragedies happen, soon found to be linked together. The usual gang of idiots find themselves in the middle of a foreign power and their own countryβs dark secrets.
This is pretty different from Slow Horses S5 and to my taste quite a bit better.
Poster for the Belgian release of "The Postman Always Ring Twice" (1946).
Star Trek The Next Generation scene. Ok so basically what we have here is an outdoor shot with a rock wall cliffy looking background. There are three people, humans, standing together. Their hands are up and raised as if they're going over the drop of a roller coaster, but in actuality, they are in this moment sort of disintegrating. You can see their faces and arms and lower half, dressed in while linen, but the midsection of each person is sort exploding and disappearing and on fire. Layers are removed, so you see bones and some organs and I imagine if you kept watching this disintegration would work its way outward and a second later they'd basically be toast. No caption, just a fun and happy light hearted Saturday Star Trek post!

How terrifying.

Illustration of a jazz trio: drummer, stand up bass player, and pianist and the pencil lines overlap and converse with each other, as the players collab as one unit.
This piece was one of my most popular pieces, "Jazz." Sold it as a print on my Etsy store ages ago, 2005.
Itβs right up there with a splash of blood on a smiley face button.
Thanks Mark!
Itβs exciting filling in those knowledge gaps.
βPortrait of Young Ladyβ painting by Xu Beihong
βRunning Togetherβ painting by Xu Beihong
βThe Foolish Old Man Moved the Mountainβ painting by Xu Beihong
From what Iβve read, Xu Beihong is considered one of the most influential modern-era artists in China with his methods still taught there. He studied abroad in the early 1900βs and brought a Classical European sensibility to traditional Chinese art in pretty spectacular ways.
βPut Down Your Whipβ painting by Xu Beihong
I recently learned about the Chinese artist Xu Beihong. Thanks to growing up with a Eurocentric education I admit to not knowing much about art outside of Europe and the US, but Iβm making an effort to learn more.
With the new ShopAEW site itβs a bit tougher to find my stuff at the moment. FEAR NOT! You can still get my signed prints at Pro Wrestling Tees as well.
