So much of the hate these characters get boils down to, “This character had an emotional response to an extremely distressing situation and I didn’t like that.”

And Alastor can fight*

Even if he was being prideful and trying to prove him himself against Adam; he still was attempting to fend off Adam for her too (I assume she asked him to during that one conversation Vox saw?)

He also fought against those sinners that was attacking the hotel for her too
Charlie said he was doing it for her when defending him against Lucifer. Even him purposely being captured by Vox sort of was to her benefit too

So Isn't he sort of acting out like an Executioner/Knight for her?

If Charlie doesn't fight because she's a pacifist and Alastor does, that explains why she left it up to Alastor to fight Vox. He basically was fighting Vox for her 😏

Alastor is a manipulator, but i don't really get why that's an instant death sentence for the character and why he shouldn't have any form of 'redemption' to his arc
