My single stitches, as in the center of the flower, were disappearing, so I started double-wrapping them. They lie nicely and make up for any undue tightness. #knitsky

I *love* knitting on the back deck. But our cat gets jealous that she can’t get out, and since she’s expert at prying open the slider, I can’t relax!

I tend to drop stitches when I’m not looking. I also find extra yo’s or weird-ass things from 3 rows down.

For me it’s been “Boring.” I don’t know why, I feel all knit out. Nothing excites me.

More green! Rainbow Flora in Juniper Moon Farms Cumulus. This cotton is an absolute dream to work with. I have since removed the ribbing and added 6”. I’m too old for “cropped.”

6” sock, 8” standard (for sleeves?). I didn’t know there were different sizes until I accidentally ordered 8” dpns, US 1. I’d poke my eye out if I tried to knit socks on those!

No. I suppose the “horseshoe” shaped needles would be similar in that they don’t take up much space or get in the way.

All of ours are going to disappear. Luckily there is a LYS nearby that also stocks fabric, but it’s quilting stuff. I will miss Joann’s when I’m in need of something more specialized.

I’ve got medium and large of the same kind, but medium is what I use most often.

Sometimes the yarn knows what it wants to be! No sense fighting it.

I’ve had partial retinal detachment. The surgery itself isn’t bad, but recovery is slow. I’m glad you weren’t suffering from that. I wish you a speedy return to normal.

I use a spiral needle, and it’s just on the table next to me between rows.

I hate when that happens! A shawl I made for my mother ended up this way, so after she passed, I brought it home and frogged it and made it again. She wouldn’t hear of it when she was alive, which I guess is what Moms do. ❤️
