Clubs can register an unlimited number of players on List B, & they don't count towards the 25-player limit on List A. The main criteria for List B is that the player must be born on or after 1 January 2004 & have been eligible to play for the club for an uninterrupted period of two years.

I think it's a move that's going to look more and more bizarre for all parties the longer the season goes on.
