Gobots Scales - a large black, orange & red slightly cartoony F1 racing car with a scale-patterned number 14 on the side
Surprise! A wheeled lizard monster pops out of the car when it is pulled back. The monster is rather low-detailed with unpainted eyes though has a snapping jaw. It’s easy to miss the clawed hands formed by the fender
Scales menaces Smallfoot and Good Knight. Scales dwarfs regular Gobots (bad for car mode, good for monster mode) though is less out of, well, scale in beast mode
Scales with fellow dubiously-compatible with-the-rest-of-the-line reptile monsters Zod and Quick Step
Gobots Scales! Tonka had some odd ideas about the sort of extra toys that fitted in with the realistic diecast vehicles/robots they’d licensed from Bandai & Scales is definitely the oddest. I can’t decide if I like this cartoony auto transforming lizard F1 car or not but it’s certainly interesting
