The LoK Defiance remaster is an objective improvement on the original in every way. This actually turns the game into the best installment in the franchise. Worth it.

I suspect it's more likely due to the fact that Japanese tends to either drop objects from sentences and rely on context clues, or restate them outright for emphasis. One of many reasons why direct, literal translations from Japanese come off so oddly in English.
I appreciate that. When I played the DS version, I was borderline upset at the English script. Still glad I have it, but regardless...
And this version was almost the script on which the Chronicles release was based. Would have been, too, if I hadn't sold XSEED my script for a song.
