Useful summary reminder here of why Scotland's 1689 Claim of Right Act (a binding condition of the 1707 Treaty of Union) and still law today, is key to the restoration of Scotland's sovereignty and nationhood. (And why it was/is suppressed and what Salvo and Liberation Scotland are doing about it!)
... Eg, the Β£90bn HS2 project is not directly allocated to Scotland but it is funded through debt. Scotland has a 8% UK population and 10 year gilts pay a 4.7% coupon (interest). So Β£90bnx4.7%x8%=Β£331m a year allocated to Scotland, in GERS, for a project that has nothing to do with Scotland.
There is a very large BESS battery power plant, getting installed at the Eccles Sub Station near the Scottish Border now. This is to be for Tesla batteries.
There are 3 battery plants storing renewable energy at this Sub Station, the other 2 are not Tesla. They are to supply England.
No they approved the plans I have a feeling the local council did not object.
I don't object to battery storage just not Tesla these will be made in America.
The amount of these storage facilities being planned. We could make them
The English Grid will have to be upgraded first. It will be years.
There was an inquiry last year as the Scottish Government allowed planning permission for 5 battery plants. Locals said it is too many, at the same place. The Sub Station is within 2 miles of the village of Eccles.
The Sub Station is on the A697 north of Coldstream.
The new Tesla BESS sits on the right, next to the road, groundwork getting done now. There is another one on the left of the road that follows a line of trees. Advanced groundwork there. No batteries yet in these 2. The third is behind the sub stn

You really need to take a serious look at yourself, and decide if you really support Independence or are satisfied with Devolution. Then make known your beliefs , before the election. As should all the SNP top players.
Sara Salyers tells it like it is. John Swinney is not genuine with his independence claims.
Because if John Swinney does not recognise the Claim of Right then there is no hope that Keir Starmer will.
Very true and there was dirty tricks with the postal voting, not forgetting using Local Council voting rules which allow a greater participation than General Election rules.
All that said, if the result went for us, they would have said it was an advisory referendum. So we wouldn't have won anyway.
Just by coincidence 2030 is Salvo and Liberation Scotland's Aim for independence using the UN.
I have more faith in that, than anything John Swinney, and the SNP does. Doesn't mean I won't vote for them to keep the Holyrood government Scottish.
As we stand with politics as it is at the moment. Let's forget independence and vote for what's best for Scotland.
I have read today and I believe it to be true, if the SNP won an overall majority in May, John Swinney would be completely lost. He is happy Holyrood being a Devolved Administration.
What comes first The Chicken or the Egg.

I can agree with you on that.
