hatterene was also made for me bc it represents a whole fairy tale. it's a witch, but its small body peering out from a tall structure with a pointed "roof"? princess in a tower. and its desire to quiet strong emotions is because you read fairy tales to lull people to sleep. it's great. it's great.

i am very fond of ogre-type creatures. grimmsnarl was made for me.

i do love grimmsnarl's shiny palettes bc like. grimmsnarl is an ogre. and its shiny palette has the red skin and white hair of an oni, aka the japanese equivalent to an ogre. i love that they thought of that.

if mismagius was ghost/fairy i could be an exclusively dual fairy type trainer and that would be sick. but it's not so i just have Mostly fairy types and a ghost which is still sick.

my other faves... i never played the games they are from so i don't have the same emotional connection with them as with mismagius. but i really love them because their inspirations resonate with my interests. so my pokemon team is full of fairy tale monsters basically.

also everyone should read yellow brick ramble. it is a delightful retelling of the second oz book from an explicitly trans perspective. plus, it does a lot of interesting things with rearranging story elements from the book, and the story is stronger for it. also, it's just a really well-made comic.
