Mamdani said afterwards that those involved shouldn't face charges, instead urging New Yorkers to treat officers with respect. But his response has him at odds with police leaders, who called his statements "disgraceful".

The Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA) agreed: "Today it is snowballs. Tomorrow it could be rocks, bottles, or worse," said union President Vincent Vallelong.

We agree that men are overwhelmingly the predators in abuse cases. I think you misunderstand, whether purposefully or otherwise I can’t tell, anything else I have posted.

I’ve had two posts in one week hit over 200 likes. This is most disconcerting. I may need to lay down with a cup of cocoa and a copy of the AARP magazine to ground myself.

Men are the problem - no argument from me. But if the files had exposed abuse on this scale occurring in downtown Chicago by unemployed black men, it’s disingenuous at best to suggest it would treated and handled in the same way.

US Politicians are very happy to keep framing the Epstein files as partisan. Because it shifts the focus from the real issue.

This was never about politics. It’s about mainly rich, white, powerful men believing they could do whatever the hell they wanted and get away with it.

I think the Superbowl sent a powerful message last night, that despite our many differences we can come together as a country to celebrate the fact that the Patriots lost.

It’s interesting to me how many rich & powerful former friends of Epstein cut ties with him because he was a child sex trafficker, but never saw anything untoward when they were with him on his island, never participated in anything like that, never witnessed a crime they should have reported, etc..
