if you need the VM config files then I think you need to boot, since they are stored in a compact DB on disk. otherwise so long as you know where you put the disk images you should be able to recover them offline.

Finally got around to deleting my Twitter account, but only after dumping my likes history. I enhanced a script that's been floating around to include videos, and can now rest easy knowing that all of the bangers I've liked over the years are safe.
