That's nothing. Days on Venus are 243 Earth days long!
Tell them you need some money to get your sister out of Africa and you need them to help you reclaim your inheritance.
I mean, they are technically correct, in that the northern lights could appear any night. And yes, they are statistically more likely to appear near the equinoxes. But this is definitely clickbait and the northern lights are not surging and I just really wish they would stick to their forte.
The northern lights are not surging. I really wish @forbes.com would stick to business writing and leave the #astronomy to, well, astronomers. πππ¦

There's a tendon that runs along the base of a cat's foot, just between the toe beans, the 'digital flexor tendon'. Contracting it causes the claws to extend, but notice that the motion isn't "forward", it's "rotational".
Let's look at the remarkable claws of the cat!
Light pollution is a major obstacle for #Astrophotography - seek dark skies for the best shots. If you can't find dark skies, you may be able to use a light pollution filter. Here's the one I use: https://shorturl.at/QSDhs
Small steps.

Hey fellow scientists, I'm just letting you know that if you're promoting something with some junky AI image, I'm not gonna click. You've got a workshop, a conference, a new paper?
Just not gonna bother. You want a bespoke image? Hire an illustrator.
I thought you were space-i-fying Styx "On the Edge of the Century." π
Life Hack: Observing planets and galaxies sparks curiosity, making you more inquisitive about science and the natural world. It also gives you an excuse for hot chocolate. Or bourbon. I don't judge.
The universe is expanding, and galaxies are moving away from us at incredible speeds. At some point, they will be so far away, moving so quickly, that we will not be able to see them because light won't have time to reach our eyes.
Woot!
I think we all knew.

Astrometric data is crucial for spacecraft navigation, ensuring missions reach their targets. Astrometry is the measurement of the positions and movements of stars and other celestial bodies.
Excellent!
Go to www.astropotamus.com/star-river/g... and pick a time to discuss that on my podcast. And yes, I'm serious!
