I've been a 13"-er forever, but my 15" air arrives today. I'm hoping the 'air-ness' compensates for its big-ness. It was @kottke.org saying how having a 15" laptop freed him to work productively from anywhere that got me to get a bigger screen.

One could argue that identity affiliation is a reason so many (incl designers) struggle to adapt (and have for decades). Instead of focusing on the impact they could have, they focus on what’s supposedly appropriate for someone in their role.
Why would it lead to that?
