Disgraceful
@justpassingtime
Trying to find kindred folk,Twitter defector, couldnβt tolerate the hate and stupidity. Carpe Diem, embrace all opportunities.Tolerance and kindness always. So much still to do and learn. Bigotry, racism and misogyny has no place in a developed world.
Disgraceful
Abhorrent. I hope each and everyone of them are found and suffer the same.
Donβt let the UK media, who love drama and have little interest in what is best for the country oust Kier Starmer. Yes mistakes were made but during perilous times we need a steady hand and leadership change will not provide that. The needs of the country must come before self interest and party.
π₯΄π«’ Will it be Goldβ¦ ? π
Genious. Replicate it everywhere.
I hate that the UK appears weak. Easily manipulated, willing to kowtow to an uneducated bully. America may have tragically descended into the gutter but we shouldnβt be begging to sweep up their dirt. Iβd rather starve and freeze. Stuff your tariffs.

β€οΈ An ageless beauty, style, charisma and all round great actor. This is so very sad.
Iβm transfixed by this wonderful programme. In a TV world which has relentless offerings of hideous True Crime, Crime Scene, who killed my neighbour, brothers, 24 hour hospital, traffic cops and such mindless voyeurism itβs been a joy to watch. Sad how far we have come and how far we have descended.
A favourite News Presenter and Journalist. Consistently has had a high profile on TV since the early days of The Big Breakfast. Always utterly professional. Hoping he gets the best possible treatment. Just a lovely guy. π€
Ten children and teachers started a normal day going to school. Itβs beyond heartbreaking. What kind of world do we inhabit? Unbearable losses and unimaginable grief.
Maximus, the Angels led them to you. You are safe now. β€οΈ
April 22, 2025 BY EMAIL Todd Blanche Deputy Attorney General United States Department of Justice Dear Deputy Attorney General Blanche, The Department placed each of us on administrative leave ostensibly to review our, and the Southern District of New York U.S. Attorney's Office's, handling of the Adams case. It is now clear that one of the preconditions you have placed on our returning to the Office is that we must express regret and admit some wrongdoing by the Office in connection with the refusal to move to dismiss the case. We will not confess wrongdoing when there was none. We have served under Presidents of both parties, advancing their priorities while pursuing justice without fear or favor. The role of a career prosecutor is not to set policy. But a prosecutor must abide by the oath to uphold the Constitution and laws of the United States and the rules of professional ethics set by the bar and the courts. The Department has long understood that these duties can and should coexist with the need to follow Department policies and orders. This is to the benefit of all: the courts, defendants, and the public, who can have confidence in the good faith and judgment of line prosecutors; the Department, which retains credibility while still receiving zealous advocacy from its lawyers; and the prosecutors themselves, who can stand in court confident that they are ethically carrying out their duties. Now, the Department has decided that obedience supersedes all else, requiring us to abdicate our legal and ethical obligations in favor of directions from Washington. That is wrong. Serving in the Southern District of New York has been an honor. There is no greater privilege than to work for an institution whose mandate is to do the right thing, the right way, for the right reasons. We will not abandon this principle to keep our jobs. We resign. Sincerely, Celia V. Cohen Andrew Rohrbach Derek Wikstrom Assistant United States Attorneys
NEW: Read the resignation letter of three federal prosecutors who'd worked on the Eric Adams case: "Now, the Department has decided that obedience supersedes all else, requiring us to abdicate our legal and ethical obligations in favor of directions from Washington." static01.nyt.com/newsgraphics...
Couldnβt be any more tragic and sad. Heartbreaking to think about his last week on earth alone. πͺ
Tweet by Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) When that butcher Putin invaded Ukraine, Trump called it "genius" and "wonderful." But people would rather talk about how I mix up names. 7:41 PM β’ 7/12/24 β’ 5.9M Views β’ 11ΠΊ 17 20k 0 75k W 1.2K
Biden. Not so senile. At least not last July. Funny how people forget this.
Before Trump β¦ please please please
Class act. Watch and learn Trump.
Because they wanted to diminish, ridicule and humiliate him. They wanted him to appear weakened to Putin. They wanted him to grovel and beg and they wanted a deal which would have weakened Ukraines future for recovery with no guarantee of security from the US or Russia. Shameful, sharp practice.
Anger does not buy the arms they need to defend themselves. If we really want an end to this we must all step up, country by country and citizen by citizen. We canβt just share their pain, to end this we also have to feel it. Our pockets may be lighter but longer term we will all be stronger.
Remarkable? Disgraceful more appropriate, sadly predictable. How the mighty country has sunk to such unsavoury and dangerous depths.
Likewise feel disgusted and horrified at their treatment of Ukraines elected President. If the USA is out and past petulance would say they are, we, (Europe and indeed all of us as individuals) need to step up financially supporting them to protect their citizens and country.
Still no sign of Feargal Sharkey here βΉοΈ
Gene Hackman has been my enduring crush since the 70βs. I never saw a film I didnβt like, his distinctive voice, faultless ability to be a lover, a villain and a saviour all at once. A treasure trove of films for us to keep. Seems those he treasured most will now be together forever.
Weakness personifiedβ¦.
These are dark times, never in my lifetime have I felt so deeply pessimistic about the future. I fear Iβve lived the best of it and am losing hope that this downward spiral can be halted.
Amongst a den of enablers and cowards Gov Janet Mills is a ray of hope.
Disappointed.
You may think that, but who thought after the horror of 2016 -2020 that he might ever be re-elected? Irreversible damage can be done in the next four years. The world is very fragile, we need unity, calm and reason, and a grown up at the desk.
