A Stanford Medicine-led study finds a short-term, calorie-restrictive diet significantly improved symptoms.
Sidhartha Sinha, MD, a Rainin Foundation grantee and senior author on this paper, studied the fasting mimicking diet (FMD) in Crohn’s disease patients after earlier research showed that diet could reduce a common marker of systemic inflammation.
