What were you trying to even do

Meta Knight horribly fails to cook spaghetti. Galacta Knight watches the tragedy unfurl. Here's some unnecessarily complex backstory: Galacta Knight wanted to teach Meta Knight how to cook spaguetti. It might not be the healthiest meal, but it's simple and it surely beats having chocolate cake for lunch. Despite having a fairly uncooperative pupil, Galacta's lesson went smoothly at first. He knows Meta is smart, so he should've had no issues with this. Galacta has heard rumors of Meta being bad at cooking, but he has never seen him in the act so he's a little skeptical. If his teaching is sucessful, then Meta will finally be able to understand that cooking isn't free. He'll learn how shitty it feels to have the food you prepared with so much effort rejected. Maybe he'll finally say "thank you" after a meal. Galacta's teaching is mostly out of kindness, concern and convenience (it's tiring to cook sometimes), but it's also his potential revenge. Even if Meta truly ends up being a bad cook, he wins. It'll feel so cathartic for him to tell Meta that his food tastes like garbage. Once Galacta was convinced that his pupil understood his instructions, he let Meta do things on his own. This proves to be a horrible mistake. Galacta didn't expect much out of Meta, but reality is even worse than his most hopeless thoughts. After a couple minutes, the tomato sauce exploded. About 3 seconds later, the noodles caught on fire. Everything was a mess. Galacta was not sure if Meta did this on purpose or by accident (it was the latter), but he knew he had to take measures. Meta Knight had to be banned from his own kitchen.
