There is alot of "it depends" to answer that, but nowadays its easiest to get a RetroTink to convert it to HDMI and split/capture that. The 2x Pro for 480p and below (as well as being the cheap option) or the 5x Pro for higher resolutions (and many more scaling options to improve the quality).

I might be late to the party, but Blue Prince might be one of my favorite puzzle games ever. Started it last weekend and I can't stop thinking about and playing it.

Finally got around to watching my Destiny of an Emperor run on RPGLB. The run and commentary went even better than I remembered. Really proud of it. Its up there with my Chrono Cross run with Spike in 2016 and my Dragon Warrior 2 run for DQRTA marathon in 2017.

Finally aquired a copy of one of the best games on the Famicom: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Chinese bootleg version).

I do recommend the nicely packaged single dongle plug devices and not the weird looking things on aliexpress.
Been messing around with these BlueRetro bluetooth console controller receivers and I am really impressed so far. Doesn't matter which controller you use, can remap buttons to anything, set specific buttons to turbo, and adjust turbo to all kinds of rates including a full 30Hz.

Very sad to see www.romhacking.net shutting down under not so great circumstances. It was the go to place for so much... romhacks of your favorite games, translations of games that never made it to your region, bug fix patches, and more... they will be missed.
Forgot to mention, but I had a great time at #RPGLB2024 a couple weeks ago. Had a great time hanging out with the DQ crew (plus extended DQ family), doing some practice room races, and of course had fun watching the DQ3 and DW4 runs live.

New speedrun, was difficult, but fun.
Was fun to finally play the arcade version of Monkey Ball. It was much harder without the gamecube joystick notches.
At Midwest Gaming Classic today, should be a fun time.
Wow... a surprise Star Ocean 2 free update that makes a great game even better. Can't wait to get owned by Chaos difficulty.
Thankfully I managed to get an order in for the RetroTink 4k, looking forward to trying it out.
