Arsenal facing different Man City tactics this season
There's something quite interesting going on with Manchester City...
What do City look like in 2026 in this new rough-and-tumble version of the Premier League? Duels, set-pieces and man-to-man... Can City still play through it or do they have to adapt? Wrote about it for @football365.bsky.social:

In this week's podcast, I did a piece looking at what Peps Guardiola and Lijnders (and Bernardo Silva) have said about the change in City's style this season because I think it's fascinating how City are moving in this changing Premier League. Do give it a listen:

I learned this afternoon that the co-creator of Red Dwarf, Rob Grant, has died. Without a shadow of a doubt, that show shaped my taste in comedy, especially when I was a kid. The science-fiction element to it was a big draw and the first six series (which he co-wrote) are exceptionally good TV.

Multiply the stakes by a million (or more) and I'd be easily rattled in the moment, too. Yet it's in those moments, we stick cameras and microphones in front of people and expect them to be calm and rational. We moan when they're media trained, but also when they're emotional. What do we want?
