It’s incredible that the President of the United States is openly flirting with suspending Habeas Corpus, disappearing people left and right, arresting judges and politicians, accepting ludicrous bribes from foreign countries, and people are still trying to normalize this shit.

One thing Democratic leadership could do right now is to name an alternate HHS secretary--someone to provide ongoing public updates and health information. And do it for other departments too. Start showing voters what a Democratic government would look like--press conferences, speeches, all of it.

If CNN is going to insist on paywalling every third story, the least they could do is keep me logged in with some regularity after I have subscribed. Very frustrating having to login over and over.

I was once in line at a comic shop in Santa Monica when the guy in front of me starts leafing through my comics. He was very nice, but who did he think he was? He exits and the cashier says “He Jedi mind tricked you.” I suddenly realize “That was @markhamillofficial.bsky.social wasn’t it.” It was. 🤦♂️
