My guy Dick Harden had some nasty stuff
yes it was lol
we need to manifest this Blazers pick to the Bulls so they can take a #MichiganMan
a positive of the Bulls win last night and the unfortunate ongoing Steph injury stuff is that the Blazers are in good shape to get the 9 seed and beat the Warriors in a play-in game. from there it's one more play-in win to Bulls getting another pick
Of course, Matas and Miller having career games is cool. Pat shouldnβt play over Miller another second, even though heβs a Tank Commander. Itβs just darkly funny to see the March stuff happening to this degree across the roster again, even with the loss to the Kings.
Bulls went 0-11 in Feb. and are 3-2 in March:
- Giddey averaging triple-double w/42% on high-volume 3s
- Sexton at 25 PPG on 59%
- Matas/Miller career games
- Tre near career scoring month
- Richards averaging double-double
- 27-0 run
- 2/2 in clutch wins that came down to last possession.
Hey ESPN put out a new mock draft today, and it has the Bulls taking Nate Ament, which @rickyodonn.bsky.social says would be a very Bulls pick and one he would hate www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...
Just saw a well-respected NBA insider claim that Bam should've stopped at 81 points to match Kobe and what are we doing here man
Basketball Reference has the Bulls with an expected W/L of 24-41 compared to their current 27-38, and that honestly feels generous. Bulls have escaped with too many silly wins to count this season (they've lost a few too, but nowhere close to the wins) www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CHI/20...
the Bulls are obviously a bad team at 27-38 with a net rating of -4ish, but they have been outlier really good in these toss-up games that come down to the final minute. they SHOULD probably be 4-5 games worse, but alas they are destined for like 35 wins
Bulls are 16-9 in games that are within 3 points in final minute, most wins in NBA.
Bulls are 14-5 in games within 3 points in final 10 seconds, the most wins in NBA.
I had stopped tracking this since the Bulls started losing most of their games, but with 2 ridiculous wins in the last week, I checked again: they still have the most wins in the NBA in games that are close in final minute, as well as last 10 seconds.
Sounds vaguely familiar and obviously tracks
How on earth does this keep happening
My god I forgot about #MiroticMadness
Giddey also had a 21/17/13 triple-double. The #MickeyMouseMarch aura is unmatched.
Not exactly random but Matas has a career-high 41 tonight.
Bulls were down 115β107 with a minute and a half to go and got this to OT thanks to dumb Warriors fouls, a bad turnover, missed FT and Matas.
Epic choke job by the Warriors down the stretch to get this to OT.
The Bulls had a tank win all wrapped up and then Matas and Al Horford happened
(Thereβs still a lot of time left)
Zombie Bulls running an 8-man rotation to grind out this win against the Zombie Warriors. Nobody does it like them in March. #OnlyTheBulls
For all the Scoreheads out there #EightyThree youtu.be/WrZ9L27tA-8?...
37 FTAs and 22 3PAs is absolutely hilarious
The Wizards should be fined more than the Jazz for this performance
Well well well look at Cam Payne sticking it to me π
Cam Payne with 8 3s, Bam is gonna put up 70, a random Bull is gonna do something outrageous tonight #MickeyMouseMarch
NEW #CashConsiderations w/ @rickyodonn.bsky.social: Bulls are still playing, but it's hard to care much. With March Madness upon us, it's time for draft talk! Ricky looks at prospects in the Bulls' current range, other guys he likes and the top of the draft. open.spotify.com/episode/4dAj...
Funny how time is a flat circle. In 1984, the Mavericks head coach accused the Bulls of tanking. Mavs owned the Cavs' pick. Bulls went 5-24 after Feb. 22 & finished with one fewer win than Cavs. Dallas picked 4th, took Sam Perkins. Bulls got the No. 3 pick.
That turned out to be... Michael Jordan
