maybe try having the capacity to understand how the weight behind the symbol and the ideology especially coupled with multiple other missteps would dissuade people from thinking the “reform” is genuine.

You’re stepping out of your lane by telling someone with jewish ancestry they “don’t have the capacity to acknowledge reform” when it comes to hate symbols specifically used during mass murder of those people. Patting yourself on the back because it doesn’t affect you IS dismissive, not “empathetic”

This is incredibly dismissive — Platner has shown he’s willing to lie to save face and only “reform” in the face of massive backlash when lying wasn’t enough. Benefit of the doubt is better reserved for someone who hasn’t shown a penchant for white supremacist symbols, podcasts, and ideology.
