Governor Hobbs vetoed SB1439, which would have created a special license plate, with $17 of the $25 fee being funneled to Turning Point USA. As of March 6, 2026, Hobbs has not yet vetoed the legislation (SB 1010) to rename Loop 202 as the "Charlie Kirk Loop 202" as the bill has not reached her desk.
