Some time ago when it was trending they added AI to crop the borders automatically, which disrupted my work flow. I bought a perpetual license and went back to an older version.

I've been using it for years. Never any issues. But since they introduced AI stuff I stoped updating.

Right?! It's like "this is less stimulating let's do something else".

Probably, but the main reason I've heard is that with bigger nibs the paper doesn't completely absorb the pigment so there's a pigment layer on top that can be smeared anytime.

Rolleikin successfully installed.
It's a bit awkward on the Rolleicord Vb but seems to work.

No but I use an EF nib. I've heard smearing starts to happen with nibs bigger than F.

This is my "budget" version of the P17 after @warboyssnapper.bsky.social made me want one.
After installing it the Rolleicord shoots 35mm in portrait with a 75mm lens. Don't know if it will be practical but Rollei made some fascinating accessories!
