The packed SCOTUS already did. "For the reasons given, responsibility for enforcing Section 3 against federal officeholders and candidates rests with Congress and not the States."
They didn't say "rests with the courts" So get congress' asses out there & enforce it. Start with a resolution.
going for >6 years & probably won't end before he croaks from old age. Lawsuits restraining his presidency routinely drag on until they no longer matter.
The secret to Trump's Teflon is no secret. Roy Cohn taught him to use the legal system as a weapon for attack & defense. On attack, extended lawsuits bleed opponents dry in biz disputes. On defense, delay and appeals drag out attempts to bring him to justice. The E Jean Carroll suit has been . . .
Make AI Great Again! Rule that its developers are in violation of copyright for every single unauthorized scraping of people's works.
Looks at map. "Look, that point of land isn't very big. We can just bomb it into oblivion and widen the whole thing strait thingy out!"
Blunder. From what I've seen, he didn't even anticipate the possibility of closing the strait -> oil prices -> stock market. The stock market is the only reliable regulator on his runaway steam engine, every other catastrophic outcome is somebody else's problem.
I propose that ID govern FL, FL govern TX, TX govern OK, OK govern TN, TN govern . . . and WV govern ID - in one giant circle jerk so they can all satisfy their need to force their views onto somebody else.
Impeachment Resolutions against President Donald Trump H.Res.353 (April 28, 2025): Introduced by Rep. Shri Thanedar, this resolution details seven articles including abuse of power, obstruction, and the unlawful creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) involving Elon Musk. H.Res.415 (May 15, 2025): Introduced by Rep. Al Green, alleging a movement toward authoritarianism. H.Res.537 (June 24, 2025): Introduced by Rep. Al Green regarding alleged usurpation of war powers, which was tabled the same day. H.Res.939 (Dec. 10, 2025): Introduced by Rep. Al Green, citing abuse of power through intimidation of judges and threats against lawmakers. Impeachment Resolutions against Administration Members H.Res.996 (Jan. 14, 2026): Targeted Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem for alleged obstruction, misuse of force, and self-dealing regarding a $200 million contract.
Well, not entirely true. Here's the record. And I understand that Rep Thanedar has now introduced articles against Hegseth.
Rep Al Green and a couple of others should get praise & credit for bucking their useless leadership.
But they all know that any single representative can force a floor vote.
"If you can't change the people, change the people." WE have the power to do that.
Maybe. We are all speculating about his motives. The only thing we can be sure of is that he didn't do it because it was the right thing to do or it was good for the country.
[Lizard brain analysis: If they impeach, there will be a trial. She knows things that can implicate me. It'll show that I'm vulnerable to impeachment. It'll be right before midterms that I need to stay in power]
Result: You're fired. Here's a cushy job. I'll pardon you later when the fuss dies down
What brought down Noem?
1. High Crimes pissed off the public & cause regime approval to crater
2. Dems ready & willing to impeach and showed it
3. Hearings blared High Crimes to the public. Lots of fire, lurid details
4. Repub participation showed an impeach resolution had a good chance to pass
He hasn't tried it yet, but he has mentioned pardoning himself. Make sure to add that the amendment.

Result: You're fired. Here's a cushy job. I'll pardon you later when the fuss dies down.
How?
1. Her High Crimes piss off the public and cause regime approval to crater
2. Dems are ready and willing to impeach and show it
3. Hearings blare High Crimes to the public, not holding back on lurid details
4. Repub participation shows an impeach resolution has a good chance to pass
For those who say she just got transferred to a cushy job: She had the power to hire, fire and promote thousands, implement policies that destroy the lives of millions, line her own pockets, kill, and cover up. Now (unless the Avengers show up in costume) she has no power.
Everybody has a take on Trump's "thinking" when he fired Noem. Here's an alternative take. We've just seen a demonstration of the power of impeachment to strip power from an official who ignores the Constitution, laws , and their oath of office.
This is the only way Kristi Noem or any regime felon will face Justice. There is none forthcoming from the department with that name and federal pardons always lurk in the background.
I predict this will happen. He doesn't want the spotlight to shift from him to her trial and he won't take the risk of being implicated in her testimony.
Elon keeps plugging every hole he finds when the truth leaks out of Grok. There's always another to be found.
It's good that this is happening now. It wasn't clear that the current crop of congress critters is too ossified, or timid, or corrupt, etc. to honor their oath or listen to their constituents. Impeachment would have failed even after the midterms. If you can't change the people, change the people.
Funny, you never hear this Existential Threat bluster from the US regime about North Korea which assuredly does have nukes and ballistic missiles and openly emphasizes developing its ability to attack the US. Wonder why?

The more likely scenario for any survivors in the ruins is an economy focused on suicide bomb vests, exploding shoes, and How To Terrorist books. For all the death and destruction, Trump's only enduring legacy in the Middle East will be a millennium of hate.
Citizens' Impeachment director Keira Havens lays the blame for what's going on squarely where it belongs: On Congress.
Hey Congress, do your job. This is on you.

Propaganda is oxygen to authoritarian movements. They can't be born or survive without it.
Thanks, I think. Go team impeachment!
@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social : It's because her impeach resolution was referred to committee 48 days ago with zero real action since. 186 co-sponsors, including you. YOU can force a vote. Now's a great time to build momentum toward removing criminals from office, while it's fresh in people's minds.
Call or email your representative.
Speaking of which, @georgewhitesides.bsky.social , I'm a constituent and would really appreciate it if you'd invoke Rule IX to move HR 996 on impeachment of Kristi Noem to a vote tomorrow. Thank you in advance.
Noem's impeach resolution was referred to committee 48 days ago with no meaningful action since. It already had 186 co-sponsors. It only takes 1 to force a vote. Right now would be a great time to build some momentum toward removing these criminals from office, while it's fresh in people's minds.
