Richards Road is not a provisional station like Lakemont is. Also I think if the tracks can go to SB/EM then it’s pretty easy to have the line continue to Wilburton and use the already-existing 4 Line tracks to the side of the OMF for turning around.
There’s a flyover that’s only purpose is getting cars from one side to the other without having to change lanes. I’ve always thought that would be perfect to replace with a Link viaduct so the ROW doesn’t have to get any wider.
That is SO ironic considering they fought the proposal out of the city to begin with
