I don't like using too many because its more work at the end and I inevitably stitch over it and end up having to cut/ pick it out... using so few absolutely leads to more initial mistakes though 😂

I love that! I did a Tifa cross stitch using a PDF I made with Winstitch before I discovered pattern keeper, and I adore pattern keeper now just for the tracking. I really wish there was a desktop version though

It's 18 count yeah - Zweigart with a smaller embroidery needle so really easy to stitch through (2 threads per stitch).

I made the pattern myself after a lot of trial and error because the gradient was hard to get right - it's not perfect still, but it's Pattern Keeper compatible!

Its 18 count aida (I *think*)!
