I love Norway, Denmark & Scotland so I felt it was my *cultural appropriation* right. I also love the studies but felt *lifting* the Tudor Heart might take a bit more guile.

3hrs 25mins drive home. Brilliant. Hot water on & dying to sleep in my lovely cool bed. For me, that’s the litmus test of getting old. I love my breaks but I love my home & my bed so much too. Also love my floor. I’ve no carpets & genuinely find the thought of them yuck.

I think it’s bitterly cold tonight. Properly ‘cannot get warm’ cold.

Abed. The British museum is mad: my headcouldn’t cope with the Assyrian gates, Sutton Hoo, Rosetta Stone + the fact that Cleopatra was 17 when she died. It was all SO MUCH. As fat as butter & had ENOUGH now. Night #London.
