14. Zatch Bell!! (Manga)
Your standard power of friendship Shonen manga. There are a lot of hits and misses between arcs but the parts that are good I really like. Kiyomaro is my favorite character and I love the relationship between him and Gash, it's so sweet I've always wanted a little brother!
13. Angel's Egg (1985)
The main characters have so much aura. I understand why this was the inspiration for every cool piece of media ever. Big fan of the soldier's design especially. I wasn't expecting there to be dialogue but I was pleasantly surprised that there was
12. Sorry, Baby (2025)
This film has fantastic cinematography. The tone masterfully shifts from extremely funny one moment to absolutely harrowing the next without it feeling out of place. It also made me cry over a sandwich for 10 minutes.
11. Kekkaishi (Manga)
Super good. I had a blast continuing from the anime on this one. Yellow Tanabe is an incredibly talented artist. The manga is consistently cute and funny, and the story kept me guessing on where it would go next. My only complaint is I wanted even more!!!
