People have been graciously attaching Varka to many characters and I appreciate it. However... my brain immediately defaulted to Charles *welcoming* his wayward troublemaker home properly: on his knees revising his own gag suppression skills.

I generally don't like "fades to black" in intimate moments not because of "omg so hot!" but more because- they are a very important part of intimate interaction. So much establishment, development and nuance gets skipped. Loved it, it was very artfully done. ♥

In better news; I read Heated Rivalry in one sitting, no breaks. Despite having seen the show first not too long ago, I was surprised at many instances, in a very good way. It was like a re-watch but with extended context. I think it hit the exact nuance I really appreciate. +
