I have long lamented the loss of web forums to Discord and Reddit, so I did something about it for Rainbow Road. I hope y'all will join. It's a work in progress but I'd like people to start contributing.

Yeah I keep reposting my post about the forum, no shame. :P
Because Discord is being so sketchy with the ID/age verification thing, I am actively working toward having some kind of backup of Rainbow Road.
Instead of placing all eggs in one basket, I'm leaning toward going old school and having a forum I host myself and using something else for live chat.
the OSRS Pride Zine is out now! this 44-page zine contains original art and writing (both fiction and non-fiction), as well as dozens of comments we collected from lgbtqia+ players about what pride in Runescape means to them.

It just kind of hit me how real Indie Impact 2025 is becoming. We have locked in 4 devs (with 2 more pending) who will be joining us live during the event. The Stonewall Community Foundation is actively supporting our endeavors, and the community reception has been outstanding. Genuinely so excited!

A digital drawing of a man from the knees up posing in a confident fashion. He is wearing a black, large brimmed hat, has a light complexion and has light brown hair tied in a messy, low ponytail. He is wearing a long black coat with a white vest and black undershirt. His pants are also black and have a sash around the waist. His outfit is adorn with white armoured cuffs and pauldrons and around his shoulders is a flowing grey cape with a deep red lining. In his hands are a spiky spear and a red book that is open. Around him, red lights are sparkling. The text at the bottom reads: Sweater Paws 2025 PrideScape FashionScape Winner.
Congratulations once again on the first ever #PrideScape FashionScape contest winner, @spaws.via.dog !!!

I know we're a few days into July and we didn't get the Pride Event back in OSRS but I am really proud of the community we managed to put together in Rainbow Road. There have been stories of people making amends with others they previously had beef with and that's awesome. I know not all...
Lets get as much turnout for this as we can!
This Friday, 3:45 UK time.
Be there and be colourful! π³οΈβπ
Remember this is about having a presence and not about causing problems so we will be participating in the event as usual, just looking good while doing it β¨
TODAY!
What does Pride in OSRS mean to you? Runescape was one of the very first communities where I began to discover myself as a kid, through adventures in a new world, fantastic stories that showed me I could be and do anything, and amazing friends and fellow adventurers I've met along the way. I take pride in calling Gielinor a forever home-away-from-home, just as I take pride in the person I've grown into after traveling through this world over so many years. This community shaped my queer journey in more ways than I can count, and I know I'm not alone in that experience. It's something we should all get to celebrate together as a community. Pride in OSRS shows that Jagex takes pride in us too. Deliberately throwing that celebration away washes us away right with it. - Strixxline To add your comment to the OSRS Pride Zine, visit osrs-zine.neocities.com

A pixel art rendition of Hosidius Bank with the words "Rainbow Guild. Our own place to hang out, bank stand, and find friends. World 321. Hosidius Bank."
Today in RR I announced this:
The Rainbow Guild is a place for LGBTQIA+ folks to do their bankstand skills, just hang out (not that anybody would ever XP waste), and potentially just to serve as a meeting place if you're looking to do some group content together.
"Love is Love," a RuneScape themed poem by SageMistress, in the style of an in-game scroll. Poem text: "From western lands where crystals shine To eastern wolves with bones in brine In desert heat, in northern cold Love is love, we all grow old Through Varrockβs streets, crosst bridge of Lum In Falador the spirits hum As druids pray and moles take sleep Love is love, yet Guthix weeps For still we struggle, still we fight Cannons fire day and night Simply βcause we dare to say Love is love, and thatβs okay So gather βround across the land Karamjans, Fremmeniks, hand in hand Hear us now, we shout out loud Love is love and we are proud! ~ SageMistress"
I wrote a poem inspired by the pride protests in Old School RuneScape. I'm so proud to be a part of this amazing community. Each and every one of you has such incredible strength and resolve. Going on 18 days and still no sign of slowing down! #OSRS #RuneScape #Pride #Poetry #LoveIsLove

I don't in any way blame the Devs who published this week's OSRS update post but "A Quiet Week"?
A quiet week.
Really.
A now 10-day ποΈ long protest πͺ§ in-game at the cowardice of Mod North for halting the release of this year's (already developed) Pride π event.
"A Quiet Week", a thread π§΅:
Jagex may think it's been "A Quiet Week" for OSRS, but it certainly hasn't been for us!. We've heard so much love, joy, anger and sadness about this game, and we want to hear even more. Come and add your thoughts to the record in our zine!
2002 actually. Makeover Mage is almost as old as the game itself.
According to the news outlet, CEO Jon Bellamy shared the news on Friday, April 25, via the companyβs internal message board. In it, Bellamy stated that RuneScape and Old School RuneScape would not be running any 2025 Pride Month content, so that developers could instead focus more on βwhat players wanted.β
βGames and studios are being canceled because of content that is perceived to be βwokeβ or representative,β he continued. βThe pendulum is swinging back in a way we didnβt expect.β
Runescape canceled its pride event because of false gamergate claims. No games have been canceled nor studios shut down because they were "woke." You'd only think that if you got all your news from Twitter. A gross and sad result of warped social media reality. www.gamedeveloper.com/business/rep...
