Trump administration sues California over the state's nation-leading vehicle-emission rules The Trump administration is suing California over the state's nation-leading vehicle emission standards.

The Trump administration is suing California over their vehicle emission requirements. They time and time again show that they don't care about the environment or about people's health.

There were almost 18,000 assaults on health and social care workers with 23,367 workers attacked in 2025 according to the Italian Ministry of Health. This is not acceptable. These people are here to help others. They don't deserve to be attacked. Here is your reminder to be kind to health workers.

It seems to me that the only reason Trump furthered the production of glyphosate was to further the production of white phosphorus for the military. Because he wants to kill more people with the military, he is OK giving more people cancer with weedkiller.

A Trump Order Protected a Weedkiller. And Also a Weapon of War.

White phosphorus is a nasty chemical that can violently burn people and property. The company who makes Roundup is the only US company that makes white phosphorus (which it also uses in the weedkiller).

Yet another example of how the Trump administration doesn't care about the health of people. Last month he compelled the production of glyphosate (a cancer causing chemical in Roundup). But now we see why, the company who makes that also makes white phosphorus, which is used in munitions.

RFK Jr. vowed to restore public trust in health. It's not working, a new survey suggests. Less than 40% of surveyed adults view Health Secretary Kennedy as trustworthy, compared with 86% who have confidence in their own doctors.

RFK Jr. fails to restore trust in public health (PH)? That is because he lies all the time and does things for personal gain. It is sad when I, an epidemiologist, don't trust the leaders in my field. There are many great people in PH, but RFK Jr. is not one of them. www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...

US measles cases by year 1993 to 2026. Only 3 years have over 1000 cases, 2019 had 1274, 2025 had 2281, and 2026 so far has 1136.

Well, it is only 2 months into 2026 and already the US has the 3rd most cases per year since 1993. There have been 1136 cases which is only passed by 2025 with 2281 and 2019 with 1274. This is not a good sign for the rest of the year.

Measles outbreaks are costing the U.S. millions of dollars. The true losses can't be counted. As vaccination rates decline, the economic consequences will increase, research suggests.

The first concern with measles is, of course, the devastating health impact.

But this article does a great job of explaining the economic costs.

ChatGPT isn't good at medical stuff??? No..... I'm so shocked......

I think it should be obvious to NOT use a tool that is wrong more that it is right to identify health emergencies.

The FDA creates a quicker path for gene therapies The Food and Drug Administration aims to evaluate treatments for rare diseases based on plausible evidence that they would work β€” without requiring a clinical trial first.

The FDA adopted policies that speed up the approval of gene therapy treatments. While this could be a good thing, if it is done following the science, I don't know if I trust this administration on that. I hope that this is a net positive and doesn't cause issues.

The CDC Deputy Director just abruptly resigned after less than 3 months in the position. The instability in CDC leadership continues after the interim Director was removed earlier this month.

It is no wonder the trust in the CDC is so low these days.

Trump Order Aims to Boost Weedkiller Targeted in Health Lawsuits
