It felt so defeatist to buy into the "just keep writing" line when my first novel didn't find success, even with an agent. Yet here I am, starting my third querying journey, with three more novels under my belt.

I have been seriously questioning my life choices to go back to school for my MLIS. Alas. This paper will not write itself.
I've been taking my manuscript to work so I can edit during my lunch breaks. This has only served to illustrate how much I talk aloud to my story while editing. I AM that weird coworker 😂
My MC would definitely embrace the PSL or other fall specialty drinks. I think this says more about her loyalty to her local coffee shop than to pumpkin drinks in general. #momswritersclub
I want to finish Draft 3 and send my WIP through another round of beta reading, with the ultimate goal of starting to query agents after the new year. I switched genres after parting ways with my agent about 18 months ago, so we'll see what happens... #momswritersclub

One of my favorite things about writing is that, when your plot has problems, if you just keep yourself in the story and let your mind work in the background, the answers will eventually find you 💞
The words are wording. 3K after work today. 40K total. I wish it was always this fun!
