Joined the CAPCon registration queue right at opening and am still waiting. Hoping against hope that I can snag a ticket :p

A random fur reached out to me, wanting to learn more about the Babyfur community. We talked a bit, shared some commissions, RP’d a little, and now we’re friends ^^

Life’s often built on those random encounters; It’s amazing what a little interaction does for one’s mental health lol

I’ve forgotten how to make friends as an adult; maybe as a hatchie, I can re-learn

Escape from Ever After was an absolute delight to play

Such things should be beyond a hatchling’s care, but this shy little dragon took note.

I hope he finds his spark again and comes out to play.

A shy and gentle dragon, his heart mutely pleads with the world, silent against the cacophony of the new normal.

Silent to those he once called friends - who cheered on as empathy became sin, and gleefully cut the nets supporting them while leopards circled below.

He was never the most outgoing hatchling, but never quite so withdrawn. Undoubtedly, he’s upset and confused; someone who took the lessons of Star Trek and Sesame Street to heart simply cannot reconcile the values he cherishes against the reality he is surrounded by.

As I reflect late at night in a tiny red corner of Texas, it occurs to me that my inner little has been quiet for quite some time now.

Really struggling to understand how shining a standard powered laser pointer at the floor for suiters and other attendees to play “kitty catch the laser” is against con rules, but alas..

Ah, the classic blunder of attending a con without a guiding extrovert strikes again

For several years now, I've buried myself in work, neglecting the fun and friends that make life worth living.

I've never been much of a New Year's Resolution type, but here's to being a bit less adult, and a bit more bab (send help pls)
