It's a big part of culture for feathered and furred dragons to take baths and groom each other. During these times they exchange stories and generally show how they care for each other. It's an old tradition, which was mostly spread within the tribes of forest-, wind and once snowdragons. After the war between dragons and humans ended, Zephyr- back then only a princess- had some of these fountains built to accomodate all dragons. Bringing it also as an option for the scaled ones and making it a way for dragons of any tribes to exchange stories and come together as friends. In hope that these will further increase the understanding between all different dragon kinds. It was rare to find Zephyr herself anywhere else than in the palace tending to her duties. But sometimes she has to get a break from these exhausting days and for these times she had a few more private fountains close in the royal gardens. And how better to cool down than in these fountains? Only their soft purrs and rumbles accompanied by bird twittering echoing through their forest.
