To be clear I have 3 multipurpose Spout2 sources in OBS via a plugin, this animation is part of one of those

Maybe I'm punching above my weight here but if a plugin can handle 3 GPU-based captures more efficiently than your program can handle decoding one 3-frame GIF, there might be a problem

Been trying to think of the most "this sounds fake" thing I've had to do with reworking my overlays in Godot, and I've landed on having to add an animation to a Spout2 sender instead of having it in OBS natively because a 3-frame, 14.2 Kb GIF causes OBS' time to render frames to spike constantly

Tonight I've learned that Godot's timer node, the one you write in code, is described as "unstable" by the official docs if it's below 0.05 seconds, and "for very short timers, it is recommended to write your own code instead of using a Timer node"

So now I am forced to go to sleep

Anyways, today's been a journey

I'll stress I didn't fuck up the audio and music balancing, Bluesky just likes to do that on its own

Fun fact:
You can just make your own stream alerts, nobody's stopping you

Further proof that I should not be allowed near tech at any point, I somehow got a boolean in Godot to resolve to true and false at the same time

If my ability to conceptualize art is broken, might as well break other concepts around me, like binary true/false statements too

Gonna adjust Kei-19's icon a bit, the eyelashes kinda make her look unintentionally angry.

Though she hasn't had art in so long that I don't think anyone knows what she looks like, so she's getting a redesign anyways.
