Started the year wondering if I could get a sub-37 in Tony Hawk's Project 8, and I got a semi-good run (36:16). Here is the new record, I will almost definitely be going for sub-36.

ALSO! I am still working on thps.run and THPSBot and other projects!

I will forever be indebted to the community for letting me grow as a person. I am not done. Not by a long shot.

I fully expect 2026 to be another year of testing who I am. But, I will be damned if I let my depression or anxiety or bipolar or anything else win.

There will come a day when I hang up my controller for the last time, but I am devoted to speedrunning for the long haul. This was all in preparation to finally figure out who *I* am.

It is time I stop letting the things in my head win, and it is time I start turning it around.

2025 was another really, really, really hard year on me - much more than what I could put into words. But, it was the beginning of figuring myself out.

I came out as nonbinary and discovered some parts of me that I thought I forgot. That, even in the badness of the year, is worth celebrating.

I am not stepping away from speedrunning, mind you. I still have a lot planned, and it is still my favorite hobby!!

Happy New Year! As of this moment, I have stepped down as community admin for the THPS Speedrun Community. I will still fulfill my roles as mod for P8, 2X, and a few others, but it is time I step away from some things - and that, unfortunately, includes admin'ing for the community I love most.

In May, Twitch deleted 100K speedruns among millions of other videos. With the help of ArchiveTeam and @archive.org we saved these speedruns and 500K+ other popular Twitch videos. My search tool for viewing these archives is now live! archive.speedrun.club

Was hoping to maybe have the THPS2 history video done by the end of the year, but that won’t be happening; I haven‘t touched it since late September. I‘ll get to it eventually, but mental health issues are a bitch.

Project 8 is a silly game. I am now trying to do analysis of the game on different Xbox 360 kernel versions to determine which would be the best for Any%, just to eek out like an extra few seconds. Each kernel version changes so much!

It's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2's 25th anniversary tomorrow/today. I put out a new version of my patch for the PC release that I think finally makes it the definitive version to play:

Yeah, Liquid Glass can look like ass sometimes. For music, I have been using Cider for years now since it has all the features I want/need and you can also use different skins. Don't use it on Mac, but I use it on Linux all the time (plus there is websocket support for obs now playing)

Terrible news this morning hit the THPS community, we learned of the passing of Coop. Had the honor of having him on GDQ showcasing THAW last fall for our community celebration of THPS, he was the best to do it. Rest well, fly high man, we miss you dearly.
