I see seniors disregard built-in features. You need to pull in the entire ecosystem for one thing, and it may not be a good fit for perf/api.

What is wonderful though, is that you can typically just make any alternative to a built in feature. Perhaps the pain comes from non-engineers expectations?

You can get a new light surface that has pinks where you get red and white. Play with the 50% strength and tune it down, play with the opacity.

If you can use shaders then it will be easier. I’m not used to GM but having lights on an unclamped buffer and tone mapping it is golden

I assume you have a surface that you draw lights to additively, and then draw that surface with a multiply?

If you make your lights darker, let’s say 50%, and draw it twice additively to a new surface, finally you draw the old light surface on top with transparency (normal blending)

There is something extremely satisfying about seeing something that looks pre-rendered and then the jerky, editor mouse movement 😁

Upon realloc it will fill the new memory with a pattern. If T is an array and we invoke the assignment move operator, we check if Data!=nullptr and then free it

C++ is sometimes "it works on my machine". Kinari runs on Windows and Ubuntu, and I'm flipping between MSVC and clang.
I switched to Debian and my project wouldn't run due to segfaults. I found the problem and fixed it. What I can't understand is how it worked on Windows and Ubuntu at all??

I setup a VPN on the Raspberry Pi at home. There were a few curveballs but I got it working in the end.
This allows me to reach my local drives and services while at any WiFi spot. Very happy with it!

I used my PDF maker for the first time to actually send out an invoice. I can proudly claim that my new invoices are 95% smaller in size than prior invoices.
