I think the first step is probably just awareness of the problems.

I have spoken to plenty of non-musicians about this unfortunately and am often met with the phrase “you’ll pry my Spotify account out of my cold dead hands” etc…

You shouldn’t need to declare the language if it’s an instrumental so deffo sounds like SC being shit. Stock photo thing also nonsense.

Is this because samples are getting caught up in some kind of jank content ID ?

Had this problem with TooLost and I just include a receipt for Loopcloud in “additional info” and say that is why any samples might get caught 😅 Not sure if there is a similar facility in SoundCloud.

Yeah not saying the UK idea is better. Just never considered other markets you could get longer than 3-6 year fixed rate which is the norm here. 😂
