This morning I learned that raccoons are called “wash bears” in a few different languages and it made me very happy.

Professor Oak as a dinosaur: "Choose a little guy to go with you on an adventure!" Young blue dinosaur: "Wow!" Blue: I like THIS one. he's WEIRD. Oak: WONDerful! Oak: Now take himoutside and make him beat the other little guys to near-death. Oak: Don't forget to check in with your mother first!

I KNOW I'm mashing up gen 1 and 2. But this is def how it felt when I got just a *little* older.
