My first Temminckβs Stint at Tring Reservoirs yesterday after nearly 50 years of birding there even though the access retrictions because of the works hampered viewing. It gave acceptable views through the scope.

Male and female Norfolk Hawker dragonflies were perched at the College Lake pools (Bucks) this morning. Too far for my iphone unfortunately.

A very confiding Lapland Bunting was still at Staines Reservoir yesterday. It always returned to the same patch of path when disturbed. Well worth a visit as they can be difficult even on the east coast.
